Evelyn Jeanette Lindsay

WILSON -- Graveside rites for Evelyn Jeanette Lindsay, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hewitt Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Gillum officiating.

Born Feb. 6, 1920, at Elmira, N.Y., to Edwin P. and Vivian A. Klock Buckley, she died March 29, 1997, at the Ardmore hospital.

Mrs. Lindsay was reared in Duncan. She moved to the Wilson area in the early 1950s.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Burris, Wilson; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Wayne Russell, Steve Cox and Claude and Jimmy Burris.

Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
