Mrs. Fred D. Klock Expires at House of The Good Samaritan — (Mrs. N. D. Terrill Correspondent)

Mrs. Maud S. Klock, 42, wife of Fred D. Klock of Copenhagen, R. D. 1, died Thursday morning at 5:40 at the House of the Good Samaritan at Watertown, where she had been a patient since July 6. Mrs. Klock about five weeks ago became ill with mumps, which was followed by pneumonia, which developed into an abscess of the lung. She was born September 8, 1892, and was adopted by Mrs. Kate Severance and the late Mr. Severance.

She was twice married. Her first husband was William Severance. The couple had two daughters and one son. They are: Mrs. Bruce Hosmer and Mrs. Arthur Lancher, both of Copenhagen, and Lawrence Severance, of California. After the death of Mr. Severance she married in September 1919 Fred D. Klock, to whom she had two daughters, Dorothy, aged 11, and Geraldline, aged 7, both of whom reside at home. -Surviving besides her husband, four daughters and one son is her foster mother, Mrs. Kate Severance, Fine. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p. m. from the Klock home. Interment at Riverside cemetery.
