Andrew Jackson Succumbs at 70. Madrid.

Andrew J. Jackson, 70, a farmer near Lisbon and formerly of the Gouverneur area, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Potsdam hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

The funeral will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mann funeral home here, Rev. George Jock, pastor of the Lisbon Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Gouverneur. Bearers will be Homer Goldie, Francis Lottie, John Hargrave, Lawrence Martin, Alton Pemberton and Sterling Sharp.

Mr. Jackson is survived by three children by his first wife, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Vivian) White, Star Lake, and two sons, George, Star Lake and Karlton Buzette, Ogdensburg, who was adopted by an aunt, Mrs. Frank Buzette; his second wife, Mrs. Iva Speers Jackson, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two children by the first marriage, Mrs. Glenn (Cathleen) Adams and James Jackson, are dead. James was killed in World War II.
